This fully reinforced silicone valve cover breather hose is designed to replace the crumbling factory rubber breather hose found on early transverse 1.8T engines. The OEM hose is a known failure point and can crack or collapse over time, leading to vacuum leaks and poor engine performance.

This hose replaces the stock valve cover breather Y-hose on Early AWP (1999–2002) MK4 Volkswagen 1.8T models. Early vehicles use a 20mm valve cover nipple, while late models use a larger 25mm nipple—making correct hose selection critical.

Manufactured from high-quality reinforced silicone, this hose offers long-term durability, improved resistance to heat and oil vapour, and reliable OEM-style fitment.
