The DINAN High-Flow Carbon Fibre Intake for BMW F48 X1 / F39 X2 and MINI B46 / B48 engines is engineered for efficiency, performance, and style. Instead of redesigning the factory snorkel, Dinan engineers focused on airflow balance by introducing a secondary air inlet into the upper lid. After extensive testing, a 12-square-inch opening was optimized to provide more airflow without increasing intake air temperature — even under aggressive driving conditions. The result is a high-performing intake that delivers measurable gains of +5 HP and +5 lb-ft of torque, while enhancing sound and responsiveness.
