LIQUI MOLY – Petrol Engine Intake Decarb (400ml)
Volkswagen & Audi (TFSI / TSI / FSI)
A powerful active solvent cleaner designed to remove carbon, oil, and resin build-up in the intake system and throttle valve area of direct-injection petrol engines. Effectively loosens and removes typical contaminants such as oil residue, adhesive deposits, and combustion by-products that cause rough idling, hesitation, and reduced efficiency.
Restores smooth throttle operation, improves combustion, and enhances overall engine performance. Ideal for Volkswagen and Audi TFSI, TSI, and FSI engines known for intake carbon build-up.

Application
For cleaning the intake system and throttle valve, including nozzles and openings. Suitable for petrol engines only.
-
Access the throttle valve directly.
-
Start the engine and hold a steady speed around 2,000 RPM.
-
Spray the cleaner evenly across the throttle valve using the supplied probe.
-
If engine speed fluctuates more than 1,000 RPM, shorten spray intervals.
-
Avoid spraying directly on the airflow sensor or painted parts.
-
For stubborn deposits, repeat cleaning with a second can.
-
After cleaning, run the engine for 20 seconds at 2,000 RPM to burn off residues.
NOTE:
If the engine stalls or cannot idle with the intake pipe removed, disconnect the airflow meter plug (ignition off) during cleaning. Clear any fault codes from the ECU afterward and re-teach the airflow meter if necessary.
Always follow manufacturer service instructions and safety precautions.
