The Audi A3/S3 8P platform is based on the PQ35 platform similar to Golf MK5/6.
The Audi 8P model utilises the 2.0TFSI engine found in the MK5 GTI / MK6R, some A3 8P models use EA888.1/2 same engine as MK6 GTI.
