The 034Motorsport High Output Ignition Coils are a direct plug-and-play upgrade over the factory coils, designed to deliver improved performance, better heat control, and a more aggressive under-bonnet appearance. Featuring integrated CNC-machined heat sinks, these coils help transfer excess heat away from the coil body for improved reliability and performance under demanding conditions.
Compared to standard OEM coils, these upgraded units offer a 10% increase in energy output, making them ideal for both stock and modified vehicles. Whether you’re chasing better ignition performance, replacing aging factory coils, or upgrading in preparation for tuning, these coils are a worthwhile improvement.
For 6-cylinder applications such as the B9/B9.5 EA839 3.0T and 2.9T twin-turbo engines, the factory engine harness normally sits directly on top of the ignition coils, limiting airflow across the heat sinks. To solve this, Pack of 6 kits include billet aluminium harness bracket spacers, which raise the engine harness slightly to allow proper airflow without placing strain on the wiring. These spacers are required for all EA839 V6 applications and are only included when selecting the Pack of 6.
