The 034Motorsport MQB Upper Dogbone Mount Insert is designed to work together with the lower dogbone mount insert to stabilise the drivetrain and protect the dogbone mount arm during aggressive driving. This upgrade is recommended for any MQB platform vehicle using a dogbone mount insert or spherical dogbone mount.

For the ultimate set up you should pair this with the Billet Aluminium MQB Dogbone Mount Insert. Type 1 or Type 2. Pair UPPER with LOWER.

Why an Upper Insert Is Important

Aggressive driving, hard launches, and wheel-hop can force the dogbone mount pucks to rotate forward. When only the lower insert is installed, the lower puck is restricted but the upper puck can still move freely. This uneven movement twists the dogbone mount arm, causing it to bend or fail.

The 034 upper insert fills the forward void of the upper puck, preventing this rotation and keeping drivetrain forces aligned correctly.
