    Looking for an affordable, OEM+ way to improve the performance on your Audi 8v A3/S3, VW MK7 Golf/GTI/Alltrack or Tiguan MQB? Taken right from the European Golf GTE model, this blockoff plate installs into your stock air inlect duct to help direct cool, ambient air into the airbox, while eliminating the "hot air inlet" on the inlet duct's engine bay inlet passage. 

    Our Engineering team evaluated the performance of the OEM inlet duct and found airbox temperatures rose dramatically at high RPM (~63° F. up to 77° F. from 4,600 RPM to 5,900 RPM) due to intake airflow being pulled from the hot engine bay side inlet (reference ES3240971 for more testing information).

    With this European Blockoff Plate you can eliminate the hot air inlet passage while channeling outside air into the airbox for positive benefits, all while maintaining a stealth-like, OEM+ look!

    This kit includes the necessary VW self-tapping screws for a fixed installation. Simply install the cover plate and drill an 1/8" hole for each screw location.
