This is the latest revised version, superseding part number 06L115401J, and is built to improve oil flow stability and long-term durability over earlier versions.

This filter housing is located on the engine block and secures the screw-in style oil filter element. It is commonly upgraded during oil system service or when replacing a failed housing, especially on tuned or high-performance vehicles.
