Beyond the added sound opening, the semi-open intake follows the same performance-driven path as its closed-box counterpart—increasing airflow through a larger airbox and filter element to improve throttle response and reduce strain on the turbocharger. Dinan engineers further optimized the intake tube itself by removing the restrictive factory baffling and Helmholtz chamber, eliminating turbulence and allowing the turbo to breathe freely.

The result is a refined, high-flow system that yields +6 HP / +6 lb-ft @ 5000 RPM on a completely stock vehicle, with sharper throttle response and a much more engaging induction note. Constructed entirely from premium 2×2 carbon fibre, the intake is built to perform and endure—delivering strength, heat resistance, and long-term visual appeal that won’t fade over time.
