INA Timing Belt KIT

In order to ensure perfect synchronization of crankshaft and camshaft, vehicle manufacturers use a timing chain or toothed belt in the engine's timing drive. The advantages of the belt-driven technology are the smooth running of the belt and the low weight.
Due to higher demands on driving comfort and specifications for reduced fuel consumption and CO2 emissions, the loads on all engine components – including the timing belt drive – are increasing. In order to effectively prevent engine damage and consequential costs, it is recommended that all components in the belt drive are replaced regularly in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications and intervals.

Including the water pump
Since an existing water pump is often affected by wear, the wide INA product range also includes a large number of Timing Belt KITs with water pump. If your kit includes the water pump it will be mentioned in the "parts included" section.For engines in which the thermostat is mounted directly on the housing of the water pump and later replacement would require the timing belt to be removed again, INA also offers special KITs including the thermostat.
A sustainable replacement of the timing belt, including all relevant components, is thus enabled.
