A Modern VW Classic

The R36 has always held a special place in the Volkswagen community. Produced as the flagship performance variant of the B6 Passat platform, it combined practicality with serious factory performance — something that wasn’t common at the time.

Under the bonnet sits the legendary 3.6L naturally aspirated VR6 (VR36) engine, producing:

• 220kW (295hp)
• 350Nm of torque
• 6-speed DSG transmission
• 4Motion all-wheel drive
• 0–100km/h in ~5.6 seconds
